Port Washington Parking District to Stop Accepting Cash Payments

Port Washington, NY – The Town of North Hempstead announced today that beginning on Monday, June 15, 2015, the Port Washington Parking District will no longer be accepting cash payments for parking permits and vouchers. Tender of payment will accepted through credit cards, checks and money orders.

In the near future, the Port Washington Parking District will also be implementing Pango Mobile Parking, a pay-by-phone technology that removes the need to deal with parking machines and takes the worry out of receiving a parking ticket. Pango offers users a quick and easy way to pay for parking and is available for iPhone, Blackberry, Android, Windows and other cell phones.

The Port Washington Parking District office is located at 15 Vanderventer Avenue, Port Washington, 11050. For more information call 311.
