Manhasset Valley Park

In 2019, the Town received a Trees for Tribs grant from the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation to plant a variety of native trees and shrubs along Whitney Creek. These plants will help intercept polluted stormwater before it flows into the tributary which flows into Manhasset Bay. Additional native plants have been added to the park for their many benefits and will continue to be planted in the future.
