Supervisor Bosworth Reads to Children at South Salem Elementary

Port Washington, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth’s first week on the job took her to South Salem Elementary School where she read to a group of students as part of the school’s Community Readers Program. Supervisor Bosworth read the book “The Cricket in Times Square” to Ms. Silverstein’s 3rd grade class and Ms. Taranto’s 2nd grade class.

Supervisor Bosworth also discussed the importance of reading and writing and how it is so important in everyday life. “I use reading and writing every day to do my job as North Hempstead Town Supervisor,” Bosworth said. “This wonderful reading program will help develop your reading skills so you can be one of the leaders of our next generation.”
