Town Supervisor Bosworth Announces Launch of 311 Online Service

North Hempstead, NY – Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth has announced the launch of the 311 Online service for residents of the Town of North Hempstead. This expansion of the Town’s successful 311 Call Center will allow residents to make service requests online, enhancing access to Town services for residents.

311 Online enables residents to make service requests just as they do when they call 311, but the online service is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Whether a resident is reporting a broken curb, pothole, or non-functioning street light, they simply have to select the service they are requesting from a drop-down menu, provide a location for the service request and submit their contact information. Residents are also able to provide additional comments or attach a photo.

311 Online works like the “My North Hempstead” mobile app, which was launched earlier this year and announced by Supervisor Bosworth during her State of the Town address in January.

“Both 311 Online and the ‘My North Hempstead’ app allow our residents to enjoy convenient government access around the clock,” said Supervisor Judi Bosworth. “Now our residents can get the answers they need in an even more timely and efficient manner.”

In addition, all residents who submit requests through 311 Online will receive a response from the Town with a case number so they can track the progress of their service request.

311 Online can be accessed by clicking on the 311 icon on the www.northhempsteadny.gov homepage. As always, you can contact the Town by dialing 3-1-1 or 516-869-6311, and a 311 customer service representative will be happy to assist you.

For critical problems or emergencies that may cause injury to life or damage to property, please dial 9-1-1.
