Free Pet Rabies Vaccinations

Manhasset, NY – The Town of North Hempstead will be offering free rabies vaccinations for dogs and cats. The clinic will be held on Saturday November 5, 2005 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Town animal shelter, 75 Marino Avenue in Port Washington. All dogs should be brought to the shelter on a leash and cats should be brought in a carrier. Residents can call the Animal Shelter with questions about the clinic at (516) 944-8220.

State law requires all dogs to be licensed. If you are a resident of the Town of North Hempstead, you can pick up a Dog License Application at the Animal Shelter or the Town Clerk's Office at 200 Plandome Road in Manhasset, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:45 pm.
