The Town of North Hempstead Presents Winter Wonderland

Manhasset, NY – Supervisor Jon Kaiman and Councilman Tom Dwyer announced today that the Town of North Hempstead, in conjunction with the North Hempstead Business and Tourism Development Corporation, will be hosting a holiday celebration, entitled “Winter Wonderland.” The celebration will be held at the Clark Botanic Garden on both December 17th and December 18th from noon to 6:00pm for all to enjoy.

“The Gardens will be transformed into an oasis of holiday cheer,” commented Supervisor Kaiman. “Visitors will enjoy music, food and decorations that will delight their eyes. I encourage everyone to come down and get into the spirit.”

Come wander through the Winter Wonderland to help ring in the holidays with celebrations for all. Visitors will enjoy decorating and eating gingerbread cookies while enjoying a reading from the famous holiday classic The Polar Express. A piano recital will dazzle audience members with a musical performance at 12 noon on Sunday. In addition, an electric train village by Willis Hobbies will delight visitors young and old.

“I am excited by the celebration event that is taking place at the Clark Botanic Garden this holiday season,’ added Councilman Dwyer. “I urge residents to get in the holiday spirit and join in the festivities.”

“This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy one of the Town’s most lovely locations. The Gardens and the Clark House will be decorated with lights and holiday magic. Bring your family and join in the fun,” said Leslie Gross, Executive Director of the Business and Tourism Development Corporation.
