Council Member Russell Bringing Town Government to the Residents

Community Forum will update community on services offered by Town

North Hempstead, NY – Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Council Member Viviana Russell will be hosting a community forum about services the Town offers for residents to be held on Thursday, May 26 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at “Yes We Can” Community Center in New Cassel.

At the meeting, representatives from Public Safety and Code Enforcement, Parks and Recreation, the Highway Department and the Building Department will be on hand to discuss the different services they offer and to answer questions from the public. This forum’s main goal is to inform residents of the services available to them but to also help residents understand what departments handle what concerns.

“This forum will be a great opportunity for local residents to come out and hear about what each of the Town’s department do, what kinds of services they provide and how to best access these services,” said Council Member Russell. “I look forward to meeting with the residents and answering their questions about our Town government. We are here to serve them!”

“Yes We Can” Community Center is located at 141 Garden Street in new Cassel.

For more information, please call 311 or 516-869-6311 from outside the Town.
