North Hempstead Concert Series Continues This Weekend

North Hempstead, NY – Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth, the Town Board and the department of Parks and Recreation are pleased to announce a weekend of free concerts coming to the Town of North Hempstead Friday, August 5 to Sunday, August 7 at Clinton G. Martin Park in New Hyde Park and North Hempstead Beach Park in Port Washington.

On Friday, August 5 at 7:30 p.m. the Rod Rock Experience will be performing at Clinton G. Martin Park in New Hyde Park. The Rod Rock Experience is a world-class Rod Stewart tribute band starring Rick St. James. This concert is sponsored by Dime Bank.

On Saturday, August 6, Babs Winn and the Kickin’ Boogie band will be performing at North Hempstead Beach Park at 1 p.m. This concert will feature country favorites with country line dancing.

On Sunday, August 7, the 1910 Fruitgum Company will be performing at 1 p.m. at North Hempstead Beach Park. The 1910 Fruitgum Company will be playing their hits “Simon Says,” “Yummy, Yummy,” “1, 2, 3 Red Light” and covering hits of 60s and 70s.

Bring a chair, a snack and enjoy the shows! Parking fees apply for concerts at North Hempstead Beach Park. The parking fee is $10 for cash and $7 for credit/debit.
