North Hempstead Brings Back Delicious Autumn Treat Event

Wednesday, October 19 at 7 p.m. at Harbor Links Clubhouse


North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board are pleased to announce the return of a favorite fall event, Autumn Treat. Autumn Treat will take place Wednesday, October 19 at 7 p.m. at the Harbor Links Clubhouse and will feature an evening of dramatic readings by playwright and actor Drew Keil followed by a performance by Swingin’ at the Sands, accompanied by an assortment of delicious desserts.

Drew Keil has been an actor, director and playwright for 20 years. Keil has frequented Long Island’s stages, most notably with Hofstra USA productions. Following his readings, attendees will enjoy a musical performance by Swingin’ at the Sands that will perform hits from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Liza Minnelli.

All attendees will be treated to a large array of cookies, cakes, coffees, teas, apple cider and more savory items that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. A cash bar will also be available.

Tickets are $15. Make checks payable to Harbor Links and mail to Autumn Treat, North Hempstead Parks and Recreation, 1801 Evergreen Avenue, New Hyde Park, NY 11040. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. Harbor Links is located at 1 Fairway Drive in Port Washington.
