‘Unleashed’ Photo Exhibit Featuring North Hempstead Animal Shelter Dogs at Town Hall

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board are pleased to announce that the photo exhibit Unleashed: Snapshots of Dogs at the Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter, by photographer Maggie T. Mills, a volunteer for The Shelter Connection, will be held at Town Hall in Manhasset starting on July 17.

The traveling exhibit will feature portraits of dogs who have passed through the Town’s Animal Shelter and some who are still waiting to be adopted. The gallery is open on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be located outside of the Town Board Room on the second floor. Please note that all visitors will have to check in with the security desk on the first floor lobby before visiting the gallery.

“I am so excited to display these wonderful photos of some adorable dogs who have been residents at the Town’s Animal Shelter,” said Supervisor Judi Bosworth. “These photos really capture the personalities of some of the dogs who have called our Town’s Animal Shelter Home while awaiting adoption. I’d also like to acknowledge and thank the volunteers from The Shelter Connection who do so much to help our shelter find loving homes for these dogs.”

Town Hall is located at 220 Plandome Road in Manhasset. For more information, please visit: call 311 or 516-869-6311.
