Town Council Member Angelo P. Ferrara Re-Elected with 59% of the Vote

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Council Member Angelo P. Ferrara (3rd District) was re-elected on November 7 to a four-year term with 4,918 votes, or a 59% margin of victory over his opponent.

“I wish to thank all who voted for me in this election. I am so grateful for your continued support and confidence,” said Council Member Ferrara. “I am looking forward to continuing to serve all of our residents as I have in the past and keeping North Hempstead one of the best places to live in.”

Council Member Ferrara was first elected in November 1997. He represents the 3rd District of the Town of North Hempstead which includes Garden City Park, Mineola, Williston Park, Garden City, and parts of New Hyde Park.

Ferrara will begin his sixth full-term as Council Member on January 1, 2018. The swearing in ceremony will take place on January 7, 2018.
