TOWN OF NORTH HEMPSTEAD ANNOUNCES MONTHLY HEALTH AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS

New Hyde Park, NY - Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Jon Kaiman announced that Project Independence, with partners F.E.G.S. and North Shore Health System, will offer monthly Health and Education Programs for senior citizens at Clinton G. Martin Park. Each seminar will be on separate topics focusing on health and general senior education. For more information or to register for the program please call (516) 869-7715 or 869-7793.

The program will be held every fourth Friday of the month and will take place at Clinton G. Martin Park, 1601 Marcus Avenue, New Hyde Park at 10:00am.

The February seminar will be Friday, February 22, 2008 at 10:00am. The topic will be Winter Blues and Coping Skill and it will be presented by Andrea Jaret, LCSW, North Shore LIJ and The Zucker Hillside Hospital.

The March seminar will be held on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 10:00am. The topic will be Elder Law and Special Needs Planning and it will be presented by Ronald A. Fatoullah, an Attorney at Law.
