Councilman Ferrara Attends Girl Scout Recognition Ceremony

On Monday, June 9, Councilman Angelo P. Ferrara attended a ceremony for the Girl Scouts of Nassau County. The ceremony was held at the Herricks Community Center in New Hyde Park, and recognized 23 Girl Scouts who were recipients of the Silver Award. The Girl Scout Silver Award is the highest award that can be earned by a Cadette Girl Scout and the Silver Award represents a girl's accomplishments in Girl Scouting and her community as she grows and works to improve her life and the lives of others. Councilman Ferrara was proud to present the 23 scout members with the award as a result of their remarkable accomplishments.
