‘We Care’ Program Visits Munsey Park Elementary School

 

 Manhasset, NY—Members of the Town of North Hempstead’s Park and Recreation Department were welcomed by Munsey Park School last Wednesday, April 8, for the Town’s latest installment of the ‘We Care’ program.

   “The Town’s ‘We Care’ program is designed to engage and empower our youth to become active citizens who care for our environment and their communities,” said Councilwoman Maria-Christina Poons.

            The Town’s ‘We Care’ program is now 20 years running.  The program informs students on recycling, composting, pond life and water conservation.  For more information, please call 311.
