Department of Public Works - Sidewalk District

The Department of Public Works repairs sidewalks on roadways under Town jurisdiction within the unincorporated areas of the Town, using funds raised by the Town of North Hempstead Sidewalk District. Residents may report defective sidewalk conditions by calling “311”, if within the Town, or by calling (516) 869-6311, if outside the Town.
