North Hempstead Welcomes the Return of the AC Milan Junior Camp Presented by ISTEP to Tully Park

New Hyde Park, NY –After two extremely successful camps last summer, North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board are eager to welcome back the AC Milan Junior Camp presented by the Italian Soccer Training Program (ISTEP) for a pair of week-long camps at Michael J. Tully Park from June 28 through July 3 and July 7 through July 12.

The camps will be held daily from 8:45am to 3:00pm and will be conducted by trainers from the world famous AC Milan soccer club of Italy. The goal of ISTEP is to foster the development of U.S. youth soccer players and programs on Long Island and establish a player exchange program for Italian and American youth players.

“We are proud to welcome these world-class soccer trainers to North Hempstead,” Supervisor Bosworth said. “This is such a unique experience for young athletes here in the Town as they will get the opportunity to learn from some of the best trainers in the world right here in their own backyard.”

The camp features specific individual player objectives for strikers, defense and goalkeepers to improve their effectiveness on the field. The clinic features trainers that played professionally in Italy and are UEFA A and B certified.

Fees for the week long camp are $585 which includes the uniform kits with the AC Milan official home and away jerseys. There is a discount available if you wish to sign up for both weeks.

Interested individuals can enroll immediately by signing up online at www.istepusa.sportssignup.com or calling them at (516) 474-1823.

Campers take part in the last ISTEP clinic at Tully Park in late June.
