Residents Invited to Provide Input for Future of North Hempstead Beach Park

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board invite residents to attend one of the three visioning meetings that will be held for the redevelopment of North Hempstead Beach Park.

Attendees will view a presentation by the Town’s Landscape Architects and engage them and fellow residents in a friendly discussion on what recreational elements they would like to see developed on both North Hempstead Beach Park’s 90 acres and the 200 wooded acres across the street.

Interested residents may come to one or all sessions. Please RSVP by emailing beachplan@northhempsteadny.gov or by calling 311 (516-869-6311). If you are unable to attend any of the scheduled meetings, there will be ample opportunity for you to give your comments and suggestions on an interactive website, which will be active by the end of January 2017.
