Town Partnering with AAPIQLI* to Offer Free Health and Wellness Series

*American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin Queens and Long Island


North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Council Member Zuckerman and the Town Board are pleased to announce that the Town is partnering with the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin of Queens and Long Island, Inc. (AAPIQLI) to provide free wellness events to residents, which will take place at Clark Botanic Garden in Albertson. These events will run from July 9 to September 17.

The seminars will feature professionals from AAPIQLI discussing wellness topics, as well as offering hands-on programs including yoga, meditation and cultural sensitivity.

- Sunday, July 9 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.: “Yoga under the Stars,” featuring meditation.

- Sunday, August 6 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.: “Cultural Sensitivity” and “Emotional IQ”

- Sunday, September 17 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.: “Yoga under the Stars,” featuring meditation.
