Lottery for Free Smart Irrigation Controls

North Hempstead, NY – The Water Authority of Great Neck North was selected to participate in the Long Island Commission for Aquifer Protection (LICAP) LICAP’s Smart Sprinkler System Lottery. LICAP will be giving away a limited number of FREE Smart Irrigation Controllers and providing rebates of up to $250 for installation.

These Smart Sprinklers Systems can save customers thousands of dollars on their water bills over a lifetime, and help protect the environment by reducing stress on Long Island’s sole source aquifer.

For a complete list of eligibility and participant requirements and to enter the Smart Sprinkler Lottery, residents can visit the LICAP’s website to complete an online form: www.LIAquiferCommission.com.

The Long Island Commission for Aquifer Protection is a bi-county entity formed to address both quality and quantity issues facing Long Island’s aquifer system, and to advocate for a coordinated, regional approach to groundwater resources management.

The Water Authority of Great Neck North lottery will take place on April 26, 2018 at 6 p.m. at Great Neck House - 14 Arrandale Avenue, Great Neck, NY 11023.
