LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 

TO THE TAXPAYERS OF THE FIRE DIS'TRICT:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a resolution was duly adopted by the Board of

Fire Commissioners of the NEW HYDE PARK FlRE DISTRICT, Town of Hempstead and

North Hempstead, County of Nassau, State of New York, on the May 15, 2007 subject to a

Public Hearing as provided for by the General Municipal Law.

An extract of the resolution is as follows:

THE NEW HYDE PARK FlRE DISTRICT shall purchase a repair of the

Class C Drill Truck at a cost not to exceed ten thousand ($10,000.00) dollars,

said funds to be transferred from the Section 6-d General Municipal Repair

Reserve Fund.

The Board of Fire Commissioners shall consider this expenditure at a public hearing

to be held at the office of the Board of Fire Commissioners located at 1555 Jericho

Turnpike, New Hyde Park, New York on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 commencing at 8:00 p.m.,

and this resolution shall not take effect until such hearing is held and the Board renders a

decision thereafter as required by the General Municipal Law.
