North Hempstead’s 2018 Young People and The Arts Series Begins at Various Parks

North Hempstead, NY – TTown of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board are excited to announce the upcoming shows for the Young People and The Arts series. The series will begin at Manorhaven Beach Park, with shows to follow at Clark Botanic Garden, Fuschillo Park, and the Clinton G. Martin Park. All concerts are Tuesday mornings at 10:30 am.

“The series will offer some wonderful, free entertainment for young people at a variety of our Town parks,” said Supervisor Bosworth. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for families to get to know our various parks and Clark Botanic Garden, while enjoying music and theater in different settings.”

On July 10 at Manorhaven Beach Park, The Deedle Deedle Dees- 4 piece band

On July 17 at Clark Botanic Garden, Bach 2 Rock- an interactive fun band; kids get to perform with them

On July 24 at Fuschillo Park, Carle Place, Patricia Shih- a multiple national award-winning singer-songwriter, recording artist, and TV personality. She is interactive and has kids singing and dancing. Patricia will perform with two others on instruments.

On July 31 at Clinton G. Martin Park, The Silly Circus- a one man show that has kids laughing and interacting with circus tricks.

Manorhaven Beach Park is located at 158 Manorhaven Boulevard in Manorhaven. Clark Botanic Garden is located at 193 I. U. Willets Rd in Albertson. Fuschillo Park is located on Carle Road at Broadmoor Lane in Carle Place. Clinton G. Martin Park is located on Marcus Avenue and New Hyde Park Road in New Hyde Park.
