Town Partners with AARP to Kick off Safe Driving Public Awareness Campaign

The first course is slated for July 23 at the Great Neck Social Center


North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Town Clerk Wayne Wink in partnership with AARP, will be offering safe driving courses in various locations throughout North Hempstead.

“We thank AARP for partnering with us to hold this class at a convenient location and at a low cost for our residents,” Supervisor Judi Bosworth.

“This defensive driving course will enable members of our community to learn and engage in an open dialogue about safe driving, in the hopes that our roads will be safer for everyone,” said Town Clerk Wayne Wink

The first class will take place on Monday, July 23 at 9 a.m. at the Great Neck Social Center, located at 80 Grace Avenue in Great Neck. Anyone interested in attending this event should contact Natasha Bhan at (516) 487-0025 or bhann.gnsc@optimum.net.

Registration is $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-members. This course is open to drivers of all ages. Registration is required.
