Town Celebrates the End of the FunDay Monday Season with “HomeTown USA” Event!

North Hempstead, NY – Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board hosted the final FunDay Monday of the 2018 season with the “HomeTown USA” event on August 27. “HomeTown USA” featured a salute to our Armed Forces and celebrated American traditions. It is part of the Town’s FunDay Monday program, which is a free senior program held at North Hempstead Beach Park in Port Washington, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Monday throughout the summer.

“The Town’s FunDay Monday series is loved by so many of our senior residents. It provides a way for them to spend time with friends, socialize and enjoy a day at the beach,” said Supervisor Bosworth. “Honoring our Town’s veterans is always a great way to end the season. We cannot do enough to acknowledge their sacrifices.”
