Hundreds Attend Annual Spring Festival at Clark Botanic Garden to View Blooms & Enjoy Family Activities

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Council Member Peter Zuckerman, Town Clerk Wayne Wink and the Receiver of Taxes Charles Berman joined the hundreds of visitors to the Fourth Annual Clark Garden Spring Festival on May 4. The festival served as the kick off of spring with many family-oriented activities, which included face painting, lawn games, educational programs, a live animal show and musical entertainment from Tiger Rose.

The National Circus Project’s fairies on stilts wandered the garden and visitors were also treated to science experiments from Mad Science.

The festival also highlighted Clark Botanic Garden’s 50th Anniversary and had special events to commemorate the milestone, including nature walks and a giant birthday card for visitors to sign.
