North Hempstead to Host Popular “Spooky Walk,” October 25-26
“Not-So-Spooky Walk” on Oct. 27
North Hempstead, NY – Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town are proud to announce the return of the annual Spooky Walk event. Join us for some frightening nights and one of our most popular events of the year!
Zombies, vampires, ghouls and many of their gruesome friends will inhabit the 12-acre park at Clark Botanic Garden on Friday, October 25, and Saturday, October 26, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The event will draw thousands of visitors, who will experience a spine-tingling walk through the realm of fear and fright that will be Clark Botanic Garden. The cost of admission is $5 per person. There will be a DJ on Friday and on Saturday the band Kamellot will perform at 6:30 p.m.
Spooky Walk may not be suitable for young children, and minors must be accompanied by an adult. Younger children can enjoy the Not-So-Spooky Walk on Sunday, October 27, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Not-So-Spooky Walk will also include a ride on train, face painting, and more. Not-So-Spooky Walk’s price of admission is $5 per person.
Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for carnival rides and play carnival games. This year’s Spooky Walk and Not-So-Spooky Walk are sponsored by Dime Bank. Only cash will be accepted for admittance to both Spooky Walk and Not-So-Spooky Walk.
