Supervisor Bosworth Calls for Nominations for NHTV Series Highlighting ‘Good NH Neighbors’

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth announced today that NHTV will be creating a new video series called North Hempstead Neighbors. The series will feature short video segments, about two or three minutes, highlighting exemplary individuals in the Town Of North Hempstead.

The Town will be looking for people who are involved in volunteer work, public service, environmentalism, humanitarianism and overall just out there making a difference in their community.

“I am sure that the Town of North Hempstead has many individuals that I like to call ‘good deed doers’ and they do not always receive the attention they should,” Supervisor Bosworth said. “I hope that we can highlight some of these neighbors and perhaps inspire others to do the same.”

Individuals chosen to be filmed must be nominated. If you know of someone deserving of being a North Hempstead Neighbor, please write a short 75-100 word description of why. Include the nominee’s name, hometown and your contact information. Email your nominations to press@northhempsteadny.gov

The North Hempstead Neighbor short films will be played on the Town’s Facebook, YouTube Page and Television Channel (18/63 on Optimum, 46 on Verizon).

Please visit www.northhempsteadny.gov or call 311 or (516) 869-6311 with any questions.
