HARBOR LINKS GOLF COURSE TO HOST “NINE & DINE” EVENT FOR SEPTEMBER 25TH

Port Washington, NY – North Hempstead Supervisor Jon Kaiman announced today that the Harbor Links Golf Course in Port Washington will be holding a “Nine & Dine” event on Tuesday, September 25th.

“On September 25, our world-class golf course in Port Washington will be holding a terrific event for golfers,” Kaiman said. “For a very reasonable cost, golfers can play a 9-hole game and then enjoy a sumptuous dinner. This event will provide a great opportunity for those who haven’t yet played golf at Harbor Links.”

The 9-hole shotgun start begins at 4:30 p.m. Following golf, players will enjoy an open bar and 3-course dinner, including a main course choice of Dry Aged NY Strip Steak, Roasted Salmon Wheel or Pineapple Chicken Teriyaki. The cost of this event is $75 (gratuity not included) and interested parties should call the pro shop at (516) 767-4816 to make a reservation.

Harbor Links Golf Course, with Hempstead Harbor as a backdrop, is indeed a thing of beauty. Dr. Michael Hurdzan, one of the top golf course architects in the world, transformed a former sand mine into what many now believe is one of Long Island’s finest golf courses.

Harbor Links now boasts a fully renovated clubhouse, with exceptional dining facilities, including full catering services. Harbor Links also offers an 18-hole miniature golf course adjacent to the executive course. It’s open daily from 8 am until dark after Labor Day, and the fee is just $5 (miniature golf parties for kids are available as well).

Harbor Links is managed by Arnold Palmer Golf management, and it’s expert staff are all certified Arnold Palmer Instructors.

“If you’ve already played golf at Harbor Links, it doesn’t require any selling,” Kaiman continued, “but if you haven’t already played golf there, this is a golden opportunity for you to familiarize yourself with this public jewel located right in our own backyard.”
