Town to Hold Christmas Tree Lighting at “Yes We Can” Community Center Sponsored by the Long Island Nets and PSEG Long Island
Festivities include music, hot chocolate and a visit from Santa and friends!

North Hempstead, NY – Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Town Council Member Viviana Russell and the Town Board are proud to announce the Town will be holding the 5th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at the “Yes We Can” Community Center (YWC) in Westbury on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 5 p.m. The tree, a newly-planted 14 foot Norway Spruce, was donated by the Long Island Nets to the New Cassel Community and the “Yes We Can” Community Center as its official practice location.

The celebration will also include performances by the “Yes We Can” Community Band and “Yes We Can” Kids, as well as a visit from Santa and friends, courtesy of the Westbury Fire Department and free hot chocolate provided by the Salvation Army.
