Supervisor Bosworth & Town Clerk Wink Call for Nominations for 27th Annual Women’s Roll of Honor
Women’s Roll of Honor Breakfast slated for March 27 at Harbor Links
North Hempstead, NY - North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Town Clerk Wayne Wink are calling for nominations for the 2020 May W. Newburger Women’s Roll of Honor now until Friday, February 21, 2020. Anyone interested in submitting a name for consideration can call North Hempstead’s 311 Call Center or log-on to the Town’s website ((http://www.northhempsteadny.gov/roll-of-honor) and download the application form. The 27th Annual Women’s Roll of Honor Breakfast will be held on Wednesday, March 25th, 2020 at the Clubhouse at Harbor Links in Port Washington from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m.
“There are so many incredible women in the Town of North Hempstead whose work and accomplishments deserve to be acknowledged,” said Supervisor Bosworth. “I am so proud that the Town continues to provide a forum that recognizes our extraordinary female leaders.”
Event chairperson Wayne Wink added, “I am proud we have the opportunity to honor outstanding women for their great contributions to North Hempstead. The women that are recognized at this event are what make up the fabric of the North Hempstead community.”
Since 1994, North Hempstead has held the Women’s Roll of Honor breakfast to honor women who reside in the Town who have made a contribution to their community, or have accomplished a significant achievement through public or private efforts in a volunteer capacity.
