North Hempstead’s Building Department Open for Business
Town offers remote services to aid in social distancing guidelines
North Hempstead, NY - North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board reminds residents and contractors that the Town’s Building Department services are still open and accessible remotely. In order to maintain and facilitate the adherence of social distancing guidelines, the Town’s physical facilities, including the Building Department, still remain closed to the general public. While Town buildings are currently closed, the Town’s essential services continue to operate in order to maintain the continuity of government.
New Applications:
New applications can be submitted to the Building Department by mail. Documents can be mailed and addressed to: Town of North Hempstead, 210 Plandome Road, Manhasset, NY 11030.
New Permit Applications:
Requests to schedule appointments to file new permit applications can be made by emailing: buildings@northhempsteadny.gov or by calling 311 and requesting to speak with a representative from the Building Department.
Active Applications and Permits:
For active applications and permits that have already been assigned to a Plan Examiner, Clerk or Inspector, you may continue to directly contact and work with them.
