North Hempstead Hosts Workshop on Home Improvement and Repair Contractors
Workshop designed to keep consumer safe when selecting a contractor
North Hempstead, NY - North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Nassau County Office of Consumer affairs will host a virtual workshop teaching residents how to protect themselves from home improvement scams.
The presentation will educate residents on the dos and don’t of selecting contractors for home improvements and repairs, the importance of using a licensed contractor, and other ways to keep you and your family protected.
The workshop is FREE and will be hosted over the video conferencing platform Zoom. Those interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP in advance.
