SPOOKY WEEK COMING SOON!
TOWN TO HOLD SPOOKY WEEK AND NOT-SO-SPOOKY WALK AT CLARK BOTANIC GARDEN
(Manhasset, NY October 10) – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jon Kaiman announced today that the Town would be sponsoring its annual Spooky Week at Clark Botanic Garden in Albertson on Thursday, October 25, Friday, October 26 and Saturday, October 27 from 6 PM to 9 PM each night, and the annual Not-So-Spooky Walk and Scary Tales on Sunday, October 28, from 12 Noon to 6 PM.
“Spooky Week and Not-So-Spooky Walk and Scary Tales are lots of good, old fashioned fun,” Kaiman said. “For 3 nights in late October you can go to Clark Botanic Garden and walk among ghouls, goblins and ghosts as we transform this beautiful sight into a fun-filled celebration of the Halloween season. And for younger children for whom this might not be suitable, we offer them a special program on Sunday, October 28.”
There is a nominal $5 admission charge for each night of Spooky Week. This event may not be suitable for young children, and all minors must be accompanied by an adult. “It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll will perform on October 27 from 6-9 PM.
There will be a nominal $3 admission charge for Not-So-Spooky Walk and Scary Tales on October 28. This event is suitable for children of all ages, and a special children’s band will perform on that date. The “Walk” is from Noon to 4:30 PM and the “Scary Tales” from 4:30-6:00 PM.
