Leeds Pond Culvert Project - Pedestrian Walkway Closed 7/30-8/7 

North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Council Member Mariann Dalimonte are advising residents of Port Washington and Manhasset that the pedestrian walkway at Leeds Pond, previously opened during the culvert rehabilitation project, is now closed to the public due to necessary construction beginning today, July 30 until Friday, August 7 at 4 p.m. Recreational activities on the pedestrian walkway including walking, jogging, and biking will be prohibited during this time to ensure the safety of our residents. Residents are also advised to expect traffic delays in the area during construction.
