Speech to be broadcast live on Town’s website and Facebook page

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth will deliver her eighth State of the Town address on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 12 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the program will be held virtually and broadcast live on the Town’s website and Facebook page. The address will include the Town COVID-19 response and updates and new programs created in response to COVID-19 such as the Lift Up Local campaign for local businesses, including outdoor dining and shopping, recreational events for residents, including drive-in movies & concerts, and a multitude of new events and virtual programs created in 2020.

Goal and vision highlights for 2021 will focus on the implementation of the Cultural Master Plan, using technology to modernize the Town’s records through Citizenserve, moving forward with the North Hempstead Beach Park project, as well as infrastructure improvements for parks and roadways.
