Council Member Dalimonte and North Shore University Hospital, Northwell Health to Offer Free Flu Shots

North Hempstead, NY – Council Member Mariann Dalimonte is proud to partner with North Shore University Hospital, Northwell Health for a FREE flu shot clinic for the Port Washington community. The event will be held at the Port Washington Adult Activities Center, located at 80 Manorhaven Blvd., Port Washington, on Friday, October 13, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

“I want to thank North Shore University Hospital for partnering with me and the Town of North Hempstead to provide our residents with a free and convenient opportunity to receive their annual flu shot. I encourage everyone to join us this fall to protect themselves and their families,” said Council Member Dalimonte.

“Flu shots save lives every year,” said North Shore University Hospital Medical Director Dr. David Hirschwerk. “They are recommended for everyone 6 months and over and they are particularly important for people of more advanced age and those with underlying health issues. It’s a great step to staying healthy and also keeping your family healthy.”

The clinic is open to individuals over the age of 18. Attendees are not required to make an appointment. Please call 311 or 516-869-6311 for more information.
