Town Announces "Camp DISCOVER LEARNING AND FUN"
Summer Camp that Offers Kids recreational activities and Hands-on science; nature Exploration
Manhasset, NY - Town of North Hempstead, in conjunction with Center for Science & Learning, announced that this year they will present Discover Learning and Fun Summer Camps for children 6-12 years of age. In addition to swimming and recreational sports, campers will explore the wonderful world of science through activities designed to provide hands-on experiences. This is unique experience that promises to keep campers interested, excited and inquisitive.
The camps will be held in four locations: Clinton G. Martin Park; Caemmerer Park; Charles Fuschillo Park and Sands Point Preserve. Each day will be full of different activities designed to engage children through creative science, sports and art projects, shows, nature exploration, field trips, dance and many other activities. Some activities will be choices for the campers, and everyone participates in the learning and fun.
Each two week session is $240 for half days, or $440 all day sessions, the program will run from June 28-August 20, 2004, 9:00am – 4:00pm. Those interested should call (516) 763-2056 for information and registration forms. Registration ends May 30, 2004.
