Supervisor DeSena Attends Read Aloud Week at Garden City Park School
North Hempstead, NY – Town of North Hempstead Supervisor, Jennifer DeSena recently attended Read Aloud Week at the Garden City Park School on March 13th. Supervisor DeSena had the pleasure of reading to the 3rd grade classes of Ms. Francis, Ms. Weston, and Ms. Ross-Fitzgibbons. She read one of her favorite children’s books, Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel by Virginia Lee Burton, to each of the classes.
