North Hempstead's Snow Scenes Photo Contest!
The Blizzard of 2010 has left our Town buried under a thick, heavy blanket of snow, creating a wintery scene rife with great visual imagery: trees & twigs draped with snow bring to mind huge cotton swabs, snowball fights among youngsters frolicking in giant drifts, cars buried from roof to rims, sunlit icicles shimmering like diamonds....you get the picture.
And speaking of picture, North Hempstead Supervisor Jon Kaiman would like you to submit your great winter scene photos and have the chance to air your work on North Hempstead TV and our website!
Rules:
Entrants will email press@northhempsteadny.gov and provide: entrant’s name, email address, digital image(s), and caption. All submissions must be family friendly to be considered. The submission must not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity. Each entrant can submit up to 3 photos. No age restriction. Contest deadline is Tuesday, February 16.
Prize:
The 10 Finalists will have their photo posted on North Hempstead Television (Channel 18) as well as North Hemptead's website & facebook page: www.facebook.com/townofnorthhempstead.
