TONH Celebrates 40th Anniversary of Earth Day

The North Hempstead Town Board celebrated the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day today with students, staff and administrators of local schools across the Town.
Tree plantings at local schools, environmental lesson plans, Earth Day birthday cake and butterfly & turtle exhibits at Clark Botanic Gardens were among the ways TONH promoted a healthy environment today.
The festivities were organized by North Hempstead's Community Services Department.
