Supervisor Kaiman Attends Flag Day Ceremonies at Herricks Schools

Herricks, NY Supervisor Jon Kaiman, Councilman Tom Dwyer and Receiver Charles Berman recently joined with administrators, teachers, students and the men and women from our Armed Forces to celebrate Flag Day, 2011.

Supervisor Kaiman, speaking to students gathered at both Searingtown School and Denton Avenue Elementary School, was quick to give recognition of the importance of this day.

“We celebrate Flag Day to honor our great country, as well as those heroes who put their lives on the line to protect the very freedoms that we enjoy and take for granted each and every day,” said Supervisor Kaiman.
