North Hempstead Offers Free Pet Rabies Vaccinations
Manhasset, NY – Supervisor Jon Kaiman and Councilman Tony D’Urso announced today that the Town of North Hempstead, in conjunction with the Nassau County Department of Health and the Shelter Connection, will be offering free rabies vaccinations for dogs and cats. The clinic will be held on Saturday January 29, 2005 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Town animal shelter, 75 Marino Avenue in Port Washington. All dogs vaccinated must be licensed. If your dog is unlicensed and you are a resident of the Town of North Hempstead, you can license you dog while at the shelter which costs, $15 for unaltered dogs and $7 for altered.
