Who is eligible?
All New Yorkers 16 years of age and older will be eligible to receive the vaccine. Additionally, vaccination sites are now accepting walk-ins with no scheduled appointments.
Is the vaccine free?
Yes, all New Yorkers can get the vaccine free of charge.
Learn more about the state's vaccine distribution program. Locate the "Distribution Plan" tab to find the list of eligible groups. This list will continue to be updated as eligibility is expanded: www.ny.gov/vaccine
The "Vaccine Tracker" shows how many vaccine doses NYS has received from the federal government, how many first doses have been administered, and how many second doses have been administered. https://covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov/covid-19-vaccine-tracker.
New Yorkers who suspect fraud in the vaccine distribution process can now call 833-VAX-SCAM (833-829-7226) toll-free or email the state Department of Health at STOPVAXFRAUD@health.ny.gov. Hotline staff will route complaints to the appropriate investigative agencies to ensure New Yorkers are not being taken advantage of as the State works to vaccinate the entire eligible population.
