Renovation of the Clinton G. Martin Pool Facility

Greetings,

Welcome to the Clinton G. Martin Pool Facility Renovation website page. We have designed this page to give you, the residents of the New Hyde Park Special Park District, easy access to current information about the proposed pool renovation project.

Listening to feedback from residents, we worked with our engineer and design firms, to develop a new plan, which will also include a slide feature. The design firm has accommodated a slide by scaling back the size of the kiddie pool from approx. 9,000 square feet to approx. 5,000 square feet and will place a separate basin to accommodate the new slide feature adjacent to the kiddie pool. The new design will not interfere with the main pool, its swim lanes or any other swimming activities.

This page, below, has the design renderings of the pool (without the slide) and also the results of the survey, which was sent to each and every property in the New Hyde Park District. As updated renderings and plans become available we will post them here on this site.

I am confident that the result of this process will be a modern and beautiful community pool facility that all can all be proud of and enjoy for generations to come. Thank you for being such an active part of the planning process with us and we will keep you up to date on the project as it moves forward.
